Work first: reviews and overdue requests lead the page.

What the dashboard shows

Your firm’s home page is built from live requests. There is nothing to configure.

  1. 1

    Four counts at the top

Open requests, requests to review, overdue requests and drafts. Each one opens the matching list.

  2. 2

    A needs-attention list

Requests under review come first, then the overdue ones, so the next thing to do is the first thing you see.

  3. 3

    Recent work

The requests you and your team touched last, open and draft, with their status and progress.

  4. 4

    Expiring documents

Passports, permits and IDs that have expired or expire within 90 days, with the client they belong to.

The same picture, at every level

Progress is the primary signal on every client, request, case and schedule.

Period grid for recurring work
A schedule shows one row per client and one column per period. Each cell is that request’s status and opens it. Who is missing March is a glance, not a search.
Board and table for cases
Open cases sit in columns by stage, or in a searchable table with closed ones included.
Every request has a status
Draft, Sent, In progress, Under review, Complete, and Overdue past the due date.
Client pages
A client’s page lists their requests, their documents by type and year, and their activity.
Search
Find a client, a request or a document from anywhere in the workspace.
A first-week checklist
New firms see four setup steps (invite a colleague, add a client, send a request) until they are done.

Monday morning at a bookkeeping firm

A worked example with made-up names. Every step is something Sealio does today.

A bookkeeper signs in on the first Monday of April. The home page shows 14 open requests, 3 to review and 2 overdue. The needs-attention list puts the three to review first, so she opens the top one, reviews its files and moves on.

The two overdue requests are March bookkeeping for clients who have already had reminders. On the monthly schedule’s grid she can see one of them was also late in February, which makes that the call worth making. Further down, the home page lists a director’s photo ID that expires within 90 days.

Dashboard: questions and answers

Do I need to set up the dashboard?

No. It is built from your firm’s live requests: open, to review, overdue and drafts, plus the list that needs attention and documents that are about to expire.

Can I see which clients are behind for a period?

Yes. Each schedule has a grid with one row per client and one column per period, showing every request’s status. Overdue requests also appear on the home page.

Does the dashboard show expiring documents?

Yes. For checklist items that ask for an expiry date, the home page lists documents that have expired or expire within 90 days.

Your next client is the last item on the list.

Start with a ready-made checklist or build your own, invite a client, and watch the stamps land.
