Hundreds of families, one deadline
Enrolment is the same list sent to everyone, with a different missing piece from each.
- Paper, photos and email
- Documents arrive in every format, and staff retype which family sent what.
- Parents on phones
- Most families will never open a laptop to do this.
- The last ten percent
- Most files are complete on time. The rest take most of the effort.
How Sealio fits admissions and enrolment
Schools and education consultants choose the general pack at sign-up and rename cases to “Enrolments”.
- One checklist, many families
- Build the enrolment checklist once and send it to each student or family.
- Import your list
- Bring in up to 1,000 people at a time from a spreadsheet, with your own fields such as grade or program.
- A calm upload page
- One clear list, big buttons, and photos straight from the phone camera.
- Shared requests for guardians
- Both guardians can upload to the same request, each with their own link.
- Reminders until complete
- Sealio follows up with the families who still have something missing, and only them.
- Yearly re-enrolment
- A yearly schedule sends the checklist again next year.
Enrolment for a new school year
A worked example with made-up names. Every step is something Sealio does today.
An admissions officer imports the list of accepted students from a spreadsheet and sends each family the enrolment checklist, due August 1. Most families upload a birth certificate, transcripts and proof of address from a phone within the week.
For one student, both guardians are on the request: one uploads the immunisation record and the other signs and uploads the consent forms. In late July the officer looks at the requests still open. Reminders have already reached those families several times, so the handful left are the ones worth a phone call.
Start from a checklist, then make it yours.
A dedicated education checklist is not in the starter library yet. Start from the general one below or from blank; the sample above takes a few minutes to build.
Education: questions and answers
Can families upload from a phone?
Yes. The upload page is designed for phones and slow connections, with a button to take a photo for each item.
Can I import a list of students?
Yes. Import up to 1,000 people at a time from a CSV file, with your own fields. Sealio shows which rows need fixing before anything is saved.
Is there an education pack?
Not as a dedicated pack. Education teams use the general pack and build their checklist. International student advisers can start from the study permit checklist on Sealio Canada.
Your next client is the last item on the list.
Start with a ready-made checklist or build your own, invite a client, and watch the stamps land.
