Projects start late because files do
The client signed two weeks ago and the designer still has a screenshot of the logo.
- Assets buried in threads
- The right file is somewhere between a forwarded email and a shared drive link that has expired.
- Account managers as chasers
- Senior people spend kickoff week writing polite reminders.
- Monthly inputs slip
- Retainer work needs approvals and data every month, and every month they arrive late.
How Sealio fits an agency
Agencies choose the general pack at sign-up and rename cases to “Projects”. The same checklist model applies.
- One kickoff checklist
- List every asset you need with plain instructions and accepted file types, including “any file” for design sources.
- Clients need no account
- A link, a code, and a page that shows exactly what is still missing.
- Reminders you do not write
- Sealio follows up every few days and stops when everything required is in.
- Return the wrong file
- Send back a low-resolution logo with a reason, and the client uploads the right one.
- Monthly schedules for retainers
- Ask for the month’s numbers or approvals on a schedule, client by client.
- Your brand on the portal
- The client page carries your logo and colour.
Kickoff for a new client
A worked example with made-up names. Every step is something Sealio does today.
An account manager signs a retail client on Monday and sends a kickoff checklist: logo files, brand guidelines, the signed statement of work and product photography. The client’s marketing lead uploads a logo as a small PNG.
The designer needs a vector file, so the account manager returns it with that reason, and the right file arrives the same afternoon. Reminders bring in the photography by Thursday. Kickoff happens on Friday with every asset in one place, and the agency’s logo and colour were on every page the client saw.
Start from a checklist, then make it yours.
A dedicated marketing agencies checklist is not in the starter library yet. Start from the general one below or from blank; the sample above takes a few minutes to build.
Marketing agencies: questions and answers
Can clients upload design files, not just PDFs?
Yes. Each item sets its accepted files: PDF, photos, Word/Excel/CSV, or any file. The default size limit is 25 MB per file and can be changed per item.
Is there an agency pack?
Not as a dedicated pack. Agencies use the general pack, rename cases to “Projects”, and build their kickoff checklist in the checklist builder.
Can the portal show our agency’s branding?
Yes. Your logo and brand colour appear on the client portal on every plan.
Your next client is the last item on the list.
Start with a ready-made checklist or build your own, invite a client, and watch the stamps land.
