Sealio Docs

Documents on file and expiry dates

Reuse documents a client already sent you, and see what's about to expire.

Expiry dates (In place)

For checklist items that ask for an expiry date (passports, permits, ID), clients enter the date printed on the document when they upload it. Sealio refuses documents that have already expired.

Expiry dates show on the client's page, in their documents list and on your Home page, which lists documents that have expired or expire within 90 days.

Use a document already on file (In place)

When you send a client a request for a kind of document they've already sent you, and that file was accepted and hasn't expired, the request page shows On file under the item. Click Use this file to count it without asking the client again. Sealio files a copy with the new request and marks it accepted. The client isn't asked for it.

Only reviewers can use files on record. Documents never move between firms.

Planned: reminders to you and your clients before documents expire, and offering files on record automatically when you clone a case.
