Choosing a plan takes you to sign in or create an account first. A plan is bought by the firm’s Owner from the firm’s Billing page, after the email address is confirmed.

No. The 14-day trial starts when you create your firm, with no payment details. You choose a plan when you are ready.
Choose a plan on this page. You sign in (or create an account and confirm your email), and the firm’s Owner confirms the plan on the firm’s Billing page. Payment is taken on our payment provider’s secure page. Buying always starts from a signed-in account, so every purchase is tied to a person and a firm.
Yes, where a yearly price is offered. You can switch between monthly and yearly from Settings → Billing; moving to yearly is charged then, and moving to monthly leaves a credit.
Your firm becomes read-only until an Owner chooses a plan. Nothing is deleted, and your clients can still upload to requests you already sent.
Yes. An Owner can upgrade, move to a smaller plan or cancel from Settings → Billing. A move to a smaller plan is refused while your firm uses more than that plan includes.
No. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
